Drone Strike in Donetsk Region Claims One Life and Injures Four

A drone strike in the Donetsk region of Ukraine has resulted in the death of one woman and injuries to four others, including a teenager. The incident occurred on March 21 in the village of Maidan, located in the Kramatorsk district.

The attack, attributed to the Russian military, involved the use of a “Lancet” drone that targeted residential buildings. According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, a 63-year-old woman lost her life in the strike.

The injured individuals include a 30-year-old man, two women aged 52 and 65, and a 15-year-old boy. They sustained various injuries, including explosive and cranial trauma, shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations, contusions, and concussions. All victims have been transported to a medical facility where they are receiving appropriate care.

In addition to the human toll, the attack caused significant damage to infrastructure, affecting 35 private residences and several vehicles in the vicinity of the strike.

A drone strike in the Donetsk region has left one woman dead and four others injured, highlighting the ongoing conflict's impact on civilians. The attack also resulted in extensive property damage.
