In the early hours of March 20, Russia launched an extensive drone attack on Ukraine, deploying 156 strike drones, including models such as Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas. Ukrainian Air Forces reported that their defense systems successfully neutralized 133 of these drones during the engagement.

The assault was met with a coordinated response involving aviation units, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups from Ukraine’s defense forces. According to preliminary reports from the Air Forces, as of 8:00 AM, 133 enemy drones had been intercepted or suppressed.

Furthermore, the attack resulted in 19 strike drones hitting 13 different locations, with debris falling in seven areas. Despite the significant interception rate, the Russian aerial assault was ongoing, with several drones still present in Ukrainian airspace.
