Ukrainian F10 Drone Advances in Pentagon’s Drone Dominance Program

The Ukrainian F10 FPV drone, produced by F-Drones, has successfully reached the finals of the initial phase of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance program. This development highlights the growing recognition of Ukrainian technological capabilities in military applications.

According to reports, the F10 drone participated in the competition on behalf of the Ukrainian Defence Drones Tech Corporation. In the first stage of the program, the drone secured sixth place, achieving a score of 72.9 out of a possible 100 points.

Defender Media noted that, as per the program’s regulations, the manufacturer will now receive a contract for supplying drones to the Pentagon.

One of the factors contributing to the selection of the F10 as a finalist was its high level of production localization. A significant portion of the components for the F10 is manufactured in-house by F-Drones, with the remainder sourced from European suppliers.

The publication further reported that in 2024, the company localized the production of carbon frames and antennas, and by 2025, it expanded its product line to include flight controllers, speed regulators, radio modems, and video transmission systems.

The top performer in the first phase of the Drone Dominance program was the Shrike 10 Fiber, an optical fiber drone developed by the Ukrainian company SkyFall, which received an impressive score of 99.3 out of 100.

The Drone Dominance program, with a budget of $1.1 billion, aims to test innovations from 25 manufacturers during its initial phase. Following this stage, the Pentagon plans to procure approximately 30,000 drones from 11 companies, with total contract values estimated at around $150 million.

The F10 drone from Ukraine's F-Drones has advanced in the Pentagon's Drone Dominance program, reflecting the country's growing capabilities in drone technology. The program is set to procure thousands of drones from multiple manufacturers.
