Macron to Host Zelensky in France for Peace Discussions

French President Emmanuel Macron is set to welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on March 13, 2026. This meeting follows the recent gathering of the Coalition of Willing, which took place on February 24, 2026, where representatives from 35 participating countries reaffirmed their commitment to support Ukraine in establishing conditions for a sustainable and lasting peace.

The discussions will focus on the current state of affairs regarding Ukraine, France’s role, and the support from European partners in safeguarding Ukraine’s sovereignty. Additionally, leaders will explore strategies to increase pressure on Russia, including measures against its shadow fleet.

Macron and Zelensky will also address the conditions necessary for a fair and enduring peace, while reviewing the commitments made under the Coalition of Willing concerning security guarantees.

On March 12, Zelensky will be visiting Romania, where he is scheduled to meet with President Nicusor Dan. He will also engage with Prime Minister Ilie Boloshan and visit an F-16 pilot training center.

Sources indicate that Zelensky’s upcoming trip to France is a significant step in his diplomatic efforts.
