On March 11, Russian forces conducted a drone strike on a police station in Shostka, resulting in injuries to law enforcement personnel.
The Minister of Internal Affairs reported that the police station was destroyed in the attack, with over 22 officers sustaining injuries.
Additionally, the minister indicated that Russian forces have been persistently targeting the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“There is information that Russian troops are also training in basic military preparations for drone launches against civilian populations. They are employing drones separately from artillery strikes,” the minister stated.
Further attacks have been reported in Semenivka, located in the Chernihiv region, the northernmost district center in Ukraine. The aggressors are reportedly destroying infrastructure within a 20-kilometer radius of the border, specifically targeting administrative buildings to disrupt governmental operations.
During the past weekend, seven units of emergency service vehicles were lost due to repeated strikes while responding to incidents. The minister emphasized that the ongoing attacks are aimed at crippling infrastructure and harming those who arrive to assist affected individuals.
