Scheduled Power Outages Implemented Across Ukraine Amid Ongoing Energy Crisis

On March 5, parts of Ukraine will experience scheduled power outages from 8:00 AM until the end of the day, affecting both residential and industrial consumers. This measure was announced by the national energy company, Ukrenergo.

The outages are attributed to the impact of recent large-scale Russian missile and drone attacks targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure. These attacks have significantly strained the country’s power supply.

Ukrenergo emphasized that the timing and extent of these power restrictions may vary, advising residents to monitor updates from the official websites of regional energy providers.

Since January 14, a state of emergency has been in effect in Ukraine’s energy sector, as directed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, in response to the ongoing threats posed by Russian strikes on the nation’s energy facilities.

Scheduled power outages in Ukraine are a response to recent attacks on energy infrastructure, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by the country. Residents are advised to stay informed through regional energy providers.
