In response to escalating tensions in the region, Ukraine has expressed solidarity with the Iranian people while condemning the Tehran regime for acts of terror and repression. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a warning for citizens to leave Iran immediately due to safety concerns.
According to spokesperson Oleg Sybiga, Ukraine’s stance is clear: the Iranian regime is terrorizing not only its own citizens but also destabilizing the broader region. He emphasized that the Iranian government is financing terrorism and militant groups that contribute to instability in neighboring countries.
“We are always on the side of the Iranian people. The systemic violations of human rights, brutal repression, and executions indicate a deep internal crisis within this state,”
stated the Foreign Minister.
Sybiga also noted that Tehran has had numerous opportunities to resolve conflicts diplomatically and could have avoided a violent scenario.
Due to the increasing threats, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has proactively advised Ukrainian nationals to leave Iran and other regional countries where their safety may be compromised.
Ukraine has condemned the Iranian regime for its actions and urged its citizens to evacuate Iran amid rising regional tensions. The government highlights ongoing human rights violations and the regime's role in financing terrorism.
