The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes on Russian command points, ammunition depots, and a repair base on February 23 and during the night of February 24. The Ukrainian military utilized ATACMS missiles for these operations, although specific locations of the strikes have not been disclosed.
According to the General Staff’s statement on Telegram, Ukrainian units successfully targeted a support command post of the 5th Army of the Russian Federation near Novopetrykivka in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk. Additionally, they struck a logistics supply depot of the Rubikon center in the Vasylivka area of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, as well as ammunition storage sites near Pryazovske in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region and Oleksandrivka in Zaporizhzhia.
On February 23, the Ukrainian military also reported hitting a command-observation point and a drone control point in the vicinity of Udachny, along with a drone control point near Pokrovsk. The General Staff noted that the extent of enemy losses and the overall damage is still being assessed.
As of now, Russian military officials have not commented on these reports. Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian regions and territories occupied by Russia have frequently been subjected to drone attacks and shelling.
The Ukrainian side emphasizes that its defense forces continue to conduct fire strikes on military targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and within Russian territory to diminish the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor.
