Recent developments indicate that Russian forces have begun utilizing ‘Shahed’ drones to transport first-person view (FPV) drones. This shift has been confirmed through various reports.
In a recent statement, an advisor highlighted previous warnings regarding the factory attachment for transporting FPV drones on models such as ‘Molniya’ and ‘Gerbera’, labeling it a concerning sign. Current evidence supports these claims.
“Today, I have the first video confirmation of FPV transport on Shahed drones. It has been confirmed that a Shahed is carrying two FPVs,” the advisor stated.
In light of this development, the advisor has urged all anti-aircraft drone crews to remain vigilant for the potential presence of FPV drones on ‘Shahed’ units. He emphasized the importance of this information for all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stating, “I ask all units to take this information about new risks into account.”
The use of 'Shahed' drones by Russian forces for transporting FPV drones marks a significant tactical development. Ukrainian military officials are urging vigilance among anti-aircraft units to address the emerging threat.
