Ukrainian drone strikes have reportedly hit an oil terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar region and destroyed a Pantsir-S1 air defense system in occupied Crimea. These operations were conducted by the 1st Separate Center for Special Operations in coordination with Ukrainian military intelligence.
The attack occurred on the night of February 15, targeting the “Tamanneftegaz” oil and petroleum products export terminal, a significant facility located near the port of Tamán. This terminal plays a crucial role in the export of oil, petroleum products, and liquefied gas, facilitating shipments via maritime routes.
By supporting the logistical capabilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the terminal is strategically important due to its proximity to the Crimean Bridge and the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. The recent strike resulted in multiple explosions, with further details on the extent of the damage still being assessed.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces successfully targeted a Pantsir-S1 air defense system near the village of Kacha in Crimea. Reports from the General Staff indicate that other military engagements occurred, including damage to a repair unit of a Russian artillery brigade near the occupied village of Vylne in the Donetsk region.
Strikes were also recorded in the occupied area of Lyubimivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, where Ukrainian forces targeted concentrations of enemy personnel. The exact losses inflicted on Russian forces and the overall damage are still being clarified.
Ukrainian drone strikes have successfully targeted key military and logistical sites in Russia and Crimea, including an oil terminal and an air defense system. These operations are part of ongoing military efforts to disrupt Russian capabilities in the region.
