Intense Combat Reported on Ukrainian Frontlines

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a significant escalation in combat activity on February 14, with 205 clashes documented across various fronts.

According to the General Staff’s statement, Russian forces conducted 52 airstrikes, deploying 170 guided bombs. Additionally, over 4,300 kamikaze drones were utilized, alongside nearly 2,900 artillery shellings, which included 83 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian defense forces inflicted considerable losses on Russian troops during the same period, with approximately 1,250 Russian soldiers reported killed. Ukrainian forces also destroyed four tanks, six armored combat vehicles, eleven artillery systems, and three multiple launch rocket systems. Furthermore, they neutralized 552 operational-tactical drones and 97 units of Russian military vehicles.

The situation on the frontlines, as detailed by the General Staff, is as follows:

  • In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, seven attacks were repelled.
  • In the South Slobozhansky area, twelve assaults occurred near Vovchansk and surrounding localities.
  • The Kupyansk direction saw eight attacks, particularly around Pishchane and Borivska Andriivka.
  • In the Lyman area, twelve attempts to advance were reported near Hrekivka and Stavky.
  • The Sloviansk direction experienced eleven attacks in the regions of Druzhivka and Yampol.
  • In the Kramatorsk direction, three assaults took place near Novodmytrivka and Predtechine.
  • The Kostyantynivka area faced thirteen attacks, especially near Sofiivka and Illinivka.
  • The Pokrovsk direction recorded the highest activity, with fifty-nine assaults in the areas of Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and other localities.
  • Nineteen attacks were noted in the Huliaipole area, five in the Oleksandrivka direction, and two in the Orikhiv area.
  • In the Dniprovsk direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to advance.

The latest report from Ukraine's military highlights a surge in combat activity, with significant Russian losses and numerous attacks repelled across various fronts. The situation remains dynamic, reflecting ongoing tensions in the region.
