Ukraine’s Defense Forces Target Russian Military Assets Amid Ongoing Conflict

As of June 22, Ukraine marks the 1580th day of resistance against Russia’s full-scale invasion. Recent developments include significant military actions and infrastructure disruptions in occupied territories.

In the early hours of June 21, Ukrainian forces struck an oil terminal in Kerch and several military sites in Crimea, leading to power and water outages across the peninsula. In Sevastopol, fuel sales will be halted from June 22 to 23, accompanied by restrictions on electricity and public transport.

Ukrainian drones also targeted a refinery in Tyumen, Russia, covering a distance of approximately 2500 kilometers. President Zelensky noted that the new Fire Point drones possess a range exceeding 3000 kilometers.

Zelensky further emphasized that Ukraine has repeatedly communicated through intelligence channels to Belarus, urging the cessation of technical support for Russian drones. He stated that a public declaration on this matter represents a final warning.

In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a residential building, reaching the 22nd floor, as reported by the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov. A fire ensued but was quickly extinguished, and initial reports indicate no casualties.

Additionally, a ballistic missile attack by Russia targeted the Odesa region on June 21, resulting in casualties, including one fatality and several injuries.

Ukraine's military continues to engage in significant operations against Russian forces, targeting key infrastructure and military assets. The ongoing conflict sees both sides executing strategic strikes as the war enters its 1580th day.
