Upcoming Weather Forecast for Kyiv: Warm Days with Rain Expected

The weather in Kyiv is set to bring warm summer temperatures in the coming days, although rain is anticipated early next week. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has provided this forecast.

From June 20 to June 24, meteorologists expect a generally positive trend in weather conditions across Kyiv and the surrounding region. They noted that June is finally delivering the warmth typically associated with summer.

The prevailing high-pressure system is expected to keep rainfall at bay for most of this period. However, Monday, June 22, will see the arrival of an active atmospheric front from the west, which is likely to bring moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

According to the forecasts, air currents from the northwest and north will lead to milder temperatures, with nighttime lows expected to range from 17°C to 18°C and daytime highs reaching between 25°C and 27°C.

On Saturday, June 20, the weather will feature variable cloudiness without precipitation. Winds will be from the north at speeds of 5-10 m/s. Temperatures across the region are expected to be between 13°C and 18°C at night and between 23°C and 28°C during the day. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures will be around 16°C to 18°C, with daytime highs of 26°C to 28°C.
