This week, from June 15 to June 21, Ukraine is set to experience a significant rise in temperatures, with some regions potentially reaching summer highs. By the end of the week, thermometers are expected to register between +28°C and +33°C across the country, although intermittent rain and thunderstorms are also anticipated.
The week will commence with brief, light rain and relatively mild temperatures. In the southern and western regions, temperatures will range from +15°C to +20°C, while central areas will see +18°C to +22°C. The southern and eastern parts may experience temperatures as high as +26°C.
On Tuesday, June 16, scattered showers are expected across parts of Ukraine. The western and northern regions will warm up to +17°C to +21°C, while the rest of the country will enjoy summer-like temperatures of +20°C to +25°C.
By Wednesday, June 17, temperatures in the west and north will rise to +19°C to +23°C, with central and eastern areas reaching up to +25°C. The southern regions may see temperatures climb to +27°C. There will be more sunshine, and the occurrence of brief showers will decrease.
Midweek, light rain will primarily affect the northern and southern parts of Ukraine, with temperatures remaining stable.
As the weekend approaches, particularly by June 19, clear and sunny weather is expected across most of Ukraine. This will result in a temperature increase to +23°C to +27°C nationwide, with some western areas potentially hitting +30°C.
During the weekend, the heat is anticipated to intensify. While some regions may still experience brief showers, the majority will enjoy clear, dry, and sunny conditions. Temperatures are expected to range from +25°C to +28°C, with the southern and western regions reaching +30°C to +33°C.
It is important to note that on June 15, warnings were issued for thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds. Severe weather is expected during the day in the eastern part of the country, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia regions, and Crimea.
