In the early hours of June 2, Russian forces launched an attack on the city of Dnipro, leading to significant destruction and loss of life. A two-story residential building was partially destroyed, resulting in a fire that claimed the lives of four individuals.

According to Oleksandr Hanža, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the assault caused serious damage and prompted emergency services to respond to the scene. He reported that one person, a 73-year-old woman, sustained injuries and was initially hospitalized in critical condition.

Tragically, Hanža later confirmed that the woman succumbed to her injuries. In total, four fatalities have been reported as a result of the attack, with five others hospitalized, all in moderate condition.

Hanža noted that both the two-story building and several apartments in a nearby four-story structure were partially destroyed during the incident. Emergency services continue to assess the damage and provide assistance to those affected.

Prior to the attack on Dnipro, the Ukrainian Air Forces reported that Russian forces had launched Kalibr missiles from the Caspian Sea. Air raid alerts were subsequently issued in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to the threat posed by ballistic weapons and drones.

Additionally, Russian forces targeted two districts in Kharkiv on the same night, resulting in fires and injuries among civilians.
