Recent Russian Attacks in Sumy Region Result in Multiple Injuries

In the latest wave of hostilities, eleven individuals, including a child, sustained injuries due to Russian shelling in the Sumy region of Ukraine over the past day. This escalation highlights the ongoing conflict in the area, which has seen increased military activity.

According to reports from the National Police, a total of 36 settlements in the Sumy region were subjected to enemy fire during this period. The attacks involved a range of military equipment, including KAB bombs, strike drones, FPV drones, artillery, and mortars.

Specifically, in the Sumy community, six individuals were injured, comprising a 13-year-old boy and men aged 49, 70, and 73, as well as women aged 72 and 81. The Vorozyansk community also reported injuries, with a drone attack resulting in harm to a 71-year-old man and women aged 65 and 67.

In the Znob-Novgorod community, two men aged 35 and 42 were injured due to the ongoing assaults. These incidents underscore the persistent danger faced by civilians in the region as hostilities continue.

The recent attacks in Sumy region have led to multiple injuries among civilians, highlighting the ongoing conflict's impact on local communities. The use of various military assets in these assaults reflects a significant escalation in hostilities.
