The exercises, which Russia initiated from May 19 to May 21, focus on the preparation and potential deployment of nuclear forces. Concurrently, Belarus began its own related drills on May 18.

During these exercises, military personnel from both countries are engaged in training scenarios that involve the collaborative preparation and use of nuclear weapons stationed in Belarus. This includes tactical nuclear arms intended for battlefield strikes and targeting distant objectives.

The recent joint nuclear exercises between Russia and Belarus highlight ongoing military collaboration, particularly concerning the deployment of nuclear capabilities. These drills reflect strategic military posturing amid heightened tensions in the region.
