Casualties Reported Following Russian Strikes in Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv Regions

Recent Russian military strikes in Ukraine have resulted in one fatality and five injuries across the Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions. These attacks occurred over the past 24 hours, according to local officials.

Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, reported that a single individual was killed and two others were wounded as a result of assaults on the Zaporizhia district. He noted that during this period, Russian forces executed 785 strikes targeting 36 populated areas within the Zaporizhia region.

In Mykolaiv, the situation was similarly dire, with attacks reported in the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts. Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, detailed that the enemy launched nine attacks using FPV drones and “Molniya” type UAVs against the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. These assaults resulted in three injuries, including a couple aged 68 and 62 near the village of Solonchaki, and a 19-year-old male in Ivanivka. All injured individuals have been hospitalized.

As of this morning, the condition of those injured is reported to be moderate. In addition to the human toll, the attacks caused significant damage to infrastructure; in the Kutsurub community, four private homes and four vehicles were damaged, while the roof of a medical facility in the Horokhiv community was also affected.

Recent Russian strikes in Ukraine's Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions have led to one death and multiple injuries, highlighting ongoing military tensions. Local officials report extensive damage to infrastructure alongside the casualties.
