Russian Attack in Dnipro Injures Ten, Including Children

A Russian missile strike in Dnipro on April 25 resulted in injuries to ten individuals, including two children. The attack, which occurred around 5:09 PM, damaged an industrial facility and led to significant destruction in residential areas.

At approximately 6:00 PM, Alexander Hanzha, the head of the regional military administration, confirmed that the strike had caused extensive damage to local infrastructure. By 7:45 PM, reports indicated that ten people had sustained injuries, with eight requiring hospitalization. Among the injured were four men aged 24, 26, 44, and 53, all in serious condition.

Initial reports at 7:08 PM indicated that three individuals had been injured, including an 11-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and a 50-year-old woman. All were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The attack caused considerable smoke in the area, visible from various parts of the city. Residents reported broken windows in some buildings, and one local, named Tetyana, recounted her experience during the incident. She was tending to her garden when she heard warnings about a ballistic missile approaching Dnipro, followed by a loud explosion.

“I saw the missile warning, and then it exploded immediately. After that, everything started to burn, and we had to flee. I grabbed my documents and got my car out. I don’t know the condition of my house yet,”

she said, noting that her home was near the epicenter of the blast.

The nighttime assault on April 25 was part of a broader series of attacks by Russian forces, which included a missile strike that partially destroyed a four-story residential building and targeted other locations throughout the city. Following the initial strike, Russian military forces launched another attack on the same residential area around 11:25 AM, resulting in a total of five fatalities and 46 injuries, including five children.

A recent missile attack in Dnipro, Ukraine, injured ten people, including children, and caused significant damage to local infrastructure. The incident highlights the ongoing violence in the region, with multiple strikes reported on the same day.
