Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro May Introduce Crimson Red Color Option in 2026

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, set for release in 2026, may feature a new primary color: a deep crimson red. This would mark a significant departure from the company’s historical color palette, as Apple has not previously offered Pro models in such vibrant shades.

According to sources, Apple is currently testing several bold color variants for the iPhone 18 Pro, shifting focus from its traditional muted tones to more saturated and luxurious hues.

The insider, known as Digital Chat Station, has indicated a high likelihood of the dark red option being included in the new lineup. This forecast is informed by trends observed in the preparation of new flagship Android devices, which often follow or set color trends established by Apple.

Notably, the 2026 release may see Apple forgo the classic black option for Pro models for the second consecutive year, potentially offering consumers more expressive alternatives instead.

Market analysts have noted that the success of the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max has demonstrated a willingness among premium customers to embrace bolder color choices. In addition to red, other colors such as brown and purple may also be in testing phases.

This would be the first instance of a red color being introduced to the Pro lineup, as previous red options were exclusive to the standard models under the (Product)RED charitable initiative.

Apple's iPhone 18 Pro may feature a new crimson red color option, marking a shift from traditional hues. Analysts suggest this reflects a growing consumer preference for vibrant colors in premium devices.
