Increased Military Movements Observed in Northern Donetsk Amid Easter Ceasefire

Recent reports indicate a significant transfer of military equipment from the Berdyansk direction to northern Donetsk, coinciding with an Easter ceasefire. This movement appears to be taking place without concealment.

According to Andriushchenko, a local official, Russian forces are utilizing Mariupol as a transit hub to strengthen their units in northern Donetsk. He stated, “Mariupol. Easter. Russians, taking advantage of the ceasefire, are mass transporting equipment from Berdyansk to northern Donetsk. They are not hiding it.”

In addition to the movement of military assets, new checkpoints have been established, including two mobile block posts near the Azovstal plant. This setup is described as a standard procedure preceding the passage of military convoys.

Andriushchenko emphasized that monitoring of enemy troop movements is ongoing, suggesting a heightened state of alert in the region.

The transfer of military equipment by Russian forces in northern Donetsk has been noted during the Easter ceasefire. Local officials report open movements and the establishment of new checkpoints, indicating a potential escalation in military readiness.
