First Russian Drone Attack Recorded During Easter Ceasefire in Ukraine

Ukrainian Air Forces reported the first sighting of a Russian drone on April 12, despite an ongoing Easter ceasefire that began on April 11. The attack occurred in the Sumy region, marking a significant breach of the temporary truce.

The Air Forces confirmed the drone launch shortly after 9 AM, indicating that this was the first hostile action noted in nearly 18 hours since the ceasefire was announced. Prior to this incident, the Air Forces had not reported any overnight shelling from Russian forces, suggesting a brief lull in hostilities.

In a separate incident on Easter night, Russian forces targeted a medical vehicle, injuring three medical personnel. This attack raised concerns about the safety of humanitarian efforts in conflict zones.
