Tourism Season Opens at Ukraine’s Popular Sofiyivka Park

The renowned Sofiyivka Park in Uman, Cherkasy Oblast, has officially launched its new tourism season this week, welcoming visitors to experience its natural beauty.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Uman Tourism, admission fees for the park are set at 200 hryvnias for adults and 100 hryvnias for school-aged children, while residents of Uman can enter free of charge.

Visitors can also book guided tours of the park, with costs of 70 hryvnias for adults and 40 hryvnias for children.

Sofiyivka Park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, although service facilities within the park operate until 6:00 PM.

Starting this April, the park will host a variety of cultural events, including art exhibitions and workshops, enriching the visitor experience.

The park administration notes, “Spring arrives at Sofiyivka gradually… Through the light, birdsong, and the first flowers reaching for the sun… Soon, the park will be in full bloom, bursting with colors and fragrances. For now, it’s the perfect time to enjoy this gentle, quiet spring.”
