Recent drone and artillery strikes have targeted energy infrastructure in Ukraine, resulting in widespread power outages across several regions. Areas affected include Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia, as reported by the National Energy Company of Ukraine, Ukrenergo.
In a statement on Telegram, Ukrenergo confirmed that repair teams are working diligently to restore power where security conditions permit. The company emphasized its commitment to re-establishing electricity supply to all consumers as quickly as possible.
“Where safety conditions currently allow, emergency restoration work is being carried out. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all consumers as soon as possible,” the statement noted.
Additionally, adverse weather conditions have compounded the situation, leading to complete or partial power outages in four localities within the Poltava region. Repair crews from the local energy company are actively engaged in emergency restoration efforts.
