On April 1, a drone strike by Russia targeted a high-rise residential building in Kharkiv, resulting in reported casualties.
The attack occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where a combat drone known as “Molniya” struck the ninth floor of the building, causing windows to shatter. Local authorities are currently verifying the number and condition of the injured.
This incident is part of a series of ongoing assaults on Kharkiv, with Russian forces frequently employing various attack methods. Just days earlier, on March 27, an apartment building was hit, leaving eight individuals injured, according to emergency services.
Additionally, on March 26, a “Shahed” drone landed near a restaurant, resulting in one injury. On March 25, two districts of Kharkiv, Hoholodohirskyi and Novobavarskyi, were struck by drone attacks, damaging homes and vehicles and causing injuries.
Earlier, on March 24, drones targeted a suburban train traveling from Slatyne to Kharkiv, leading to both injuries and fatalities.
On the same day as the latest strike, Ukraine faced a massive wave of attacks, with Russia deploying 360 drones between 8 AM and 6 PM, including approximately 250 “Shahed” drones. Overall, the total number of drones used in attacks on Ukraine reached around 700, including those from the previous night.
