Fire Erupts in Khmelnytskyi Following Russian Attack

A fire broke out at an industrial site in Khmelnytskyi during a Russian airstrike on April 1. The incident occurred amid ongoing air raid alerts in the region.

According to Serhii Tiurin, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, the local air defense forces were active at the time of the attack. He stated, “As a result of the enemy strike, a fire ignited at one of the enterprises in the regional center. Firefighting units are currently working to contain it.”

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or injuries resulting from the bombardment. Around 1:20 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force had issued warnings regarding the movement of Russian strike drones towards Khmelnytskyi.

A fire occurred in Khmelnytskyi following a Russian airstrike, with local emergency services responding to the incident. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries.
