Ukraine Denies Iranian Claims of Drone System Strike in Dubai

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refuted claims made by Iranian military officials regarding a supposed attack on a warehouse containing Ukrainian anti-drone systems in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ministry labeled these assertions as false.

Georgiy Tykhyy, spokesperson for the Ukrainian foreign ministry, addressed the media, stating,

“This is a lie. We officially deny this information. The Iranian regime frequently engages in such disinformation operations, similar to the Russians.”

Earlier, the Iranian news agency Fars reported, citing Ibrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, that a facility in Dubai was struck, claiming it housed drone countermeasures that were part of U.S. military aid to Ukraine. Zolfaghari alleged that 21 Ukrainians were present at the site during the incident.

This development highlights ongoing tensions and the spread of misinformation in the region.

The Ukrainian government has officially denied Iranian claims of an attack on a warehouse in Dubai containing Ukrainian anti-drone systems. This incident underscores the ongoing issue of disinformation in international relations.
