Israeli Defense Forces Conduct Strikes in Central Tehran

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported a series of strikes targeting central Tehran, Iran’s capital. The military announced that these operations were aimed at disrupting the infrastructure associated with what it describes as Iran’s terrorist regime.

In a statement released via social media, the IDF confirmed the completion of these strikes early on Monday, March 23, shortly after 3 a.m. local time. The military characterized the operation as a “large-scale series of strikes” intended to impact key facilities in the Iranian capital.

Details regarding the aftermath of the strikes have yet to be disclosed, with the IDF indicating that further information will be provided in due course.

This military action follows a period of heightened tensions in the region. Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a postponement of attacks on Iranian energy facilities until April 6, in response to a request from Iran.

In a related development, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for his support during this time.

The Israeli military has executed a series of strikes in Tehran, aimed at Iranian infrastructure linked to terrorism. The IDF plans to release further details about the impact of these operations.
