Ukrainian Forces Target Key Military Installations in Crimea

In the early hours of March 19, Ukrainian military forces launched strikes against a facility associated with the Almaz-Antey defense conglomerate in Crimea, which is known for repairing Russian air defense systems. Additionally, ammunition and fuel depots in occupied territories were also hit.

The Innovative Center of the Granit Production and Technical Enterprise, located near the Fiolent Highway in Sevastopol, was specifically targeted. This facility is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of various air defense systems, including the S-400 Triumph and S-300PM2 Favorit, as well as radar stations and the Buk-M2/M3 and Tor-M2 complexes. These systems are integral to the air defense capabilities in the occupied region of Crimea.

Ukrainian forces also attacked enemy troop positions near Streletskaya Bay, with details on casualties still being confirmed.

According to the General Staff, other significant targets struck that night included:

  • ammunition depots in Donetsk, Yalta (territory of occupied Donetsk region), and Kalanchak (territory of occupied Kherson region);
  • a logistics supply depot near Vesely in Donetsk;
  • a fuel and lubricant materials depot near Novotroitske (territory of occupied Kherson region).

Furthermore, strikes were reported in areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, specifically near Yalta and Ovrazhki in occupied Crimea.

The extent of the damage and enemy losses is currently being assessed.

This recent operation follows earlier strikes on March 16 and 17, where Ukrainian forces targeted the Tor-M2U air defense system in Russia’s Bryansk region and a missile division with Bastion systems near Verkhnokurhany in occupied Crimea. Other targets included a communication hub near Mangush, fuel depots in Melitopol, ammunition storage sites in Stepne and Terpinnia, as well as a drone training center and command points in Zaporizhzhia.

Ukrainian forces conducted targeted strikes on military installations in Crimea, focusing on air defense systems and supply depots. These operations are part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian military capabilities in the region.
