On Sunday, March 15, Ukraine will enforce power restrictions for industrial consumers across all regions in the evening hours. This decision, announced by the national energy company Ukrenergo, is a response to the ongoing impacts of Russian missile and drone attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.
The restrictions will be in effect from 5 PM to 11 PM, as authorities aim to manage the strain on the energy system. Ukrenergo has advised that high energy consumption should be shifted to daytime hours, specifically between 11 AM and 4 PM, to alleviate pressure during peak times.
Ukrenergo also emphasized that the situation within the energy system is subject to change, urging consumers to stay informed through official communications from local energy companies in their respective regions.
