The mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, confirmed that the strikes caused extensive damage, stating, “At least eight apartment blocks have been damaged. Hundreds of windows have been broken.” He added that further assessments of the situation were underway.
In response to the attacks, local authorities set up a tent to assist those affected, providing a space for residents to report damages and seek help. Municipal workers are expected to begin repairs shortly.
According to Oleksandr Hanža, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, ten individuals sustained injuries from the attacks, including a 12-year-old boy. The local administration has released images showing the aftermath, highlighting severe damage both externally and internally, particularly with broken windows.
