Iran Launches Attacks on U.S. Military Bases in the Middle East

Recent satellite imagery and military reports indicate that Iran has conducted strikes on at least six U.S. military installations across the Middle East. These attacks, which occurred over the weekend, targeted facilities in Bahrain, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.

The most significant damage was reported at the Arifjan base in Kuwait, where three service members lost their lives and five others sustained serious injuries. Additionally, the Ali Al-Salem airbase experienced structural collapses, and a drone explosion occurred within the perimeter of the Buering camp.

In Bahrain, the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Manama was struck. Video evidence suggests a coordinated assault involving missiles and drones, with satellite images confirming extensive damage to several large buildings. At the time of the attack, few military vessels were present in the port.

In Iraq, the American base at Erbil airport was also targeted, resulting in the destruction of four structures, with fires reported to have continued into the following morning.

In the UAE, satellite observations detected smoke rising from a building at the Jebel Ali port, which serves as a recreational area for U.S. Navy personnel.

“It is unclear how many munitions Iran launched at these facilities and how many attacks were intercepted, but these incidents raise concerns about the ability of these installations to defend against future strikes.”

These developments follow a series of escalating tensions in the region. On February 28, U.S. and Israeli forces carried out airstrikes targeting the residence of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reportedly killing him along with senior military officials. In retaliation, Tehran initiated a barrage of ballistic missile and drone attacks on American bases and allied territories in the Middle East, including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE.

On March 1, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the deaths of three American service members and pledged to continue military operations until Iran’s missile and nuclear capabilities are fully dismantled.

Iran has launched multiple attacks on U.S. military bases in the Middle East, resulting in casualties and significant damage. These strikes follow heightened tensions after U.S. and Israeli airstrikes targeted Iranian leadership.
