Trump Reports U.S. Casualties in Ongoing Military Operation Against Iran

President Donald Trump announced that three American service members lost their lives during the extensive military operation named “Epic Fury” aimed at Iran. He cautioned that the toll could rise as the conflict continues.

In a statement regarding the operation’s progress, Trump expressed condolences, stating, “As one nation, we mourn the true American patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. While we continue this righteous mission for which they gave their lives, we pray for the full recovery of the wounded and extend our boundless love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen. Unfortunately, there will likely be more.”

Reflecting on the current phase of hostilities, the president emphasized that the U.S. would avenge every fallen soldier and deliver a “severe blow” to the Iranian regime. He confirmed that the operation is in full swing and will persist until all objectives are met, primarily aimed at permanently preventing Iran from acquiring long-range missiles and nuclear weapons.

Trump reported that U.S. forces have already targeted hundreds of sites, including air defense installations. He specifically noted the destruction of nine Iranian naval vessels and a naval headquarters, which he claimed occurred in mere minutes.

The president also stated that Iran’s top military leadership has been eliminated, with thousands of members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reportedly calling for capitulation in exchange for immunity. He urged the remnants of the Iranian military and police to surrender, warning that failure to do so would lead to “inevitable death.”

Additionally, Trump reached out to the Iranian populace, encouraging citizens to seize the moment and reclaim control of their country.

In related developments, on February 28, the U.S. and Israel initiated a military campaign against Iran. A targeted airstrike on the residence of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei resulted in his death along with other key regime leaders. In retaliation, Iran launched strikes on several Gulf nations hosting American facilities. Following Khamenei’s death, a transitional council of three individuals was established to govern Iran.

President Trump confirmed the deaths of three U.S. service members in the ongoing military operation against Iran, warning that casualties could increase. He reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to defeating the Iranian regime and urged the Iranian military to surrender.
