Drone Strike Hits Kharkiv Dormitory, Leaving Multiple Injured

On the morning of March 1, Russian forces executed a drone strike on a dormitory in Kharkiv, resulting in a fire and several injuries.

According to local officials, the attack occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where the drone targeted the dormitory. Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that emergency services were on-site conducting evacuations.

Regional authorities reported that the technical floor of the dormitory sustained damage. Among the injured were two elderly women, aged 75 and 69, who experienced acute stress reactions.

Emergency response units and medical personnel have been deployed to the scene to assist those affected.

Additional drone strikes were recorded in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv, with further details still being clarified.

As of 9:02 AM, the number of injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district had risen to three, with a third woman, aged 53, also suffering from acute stress. Medical teams are providing necessary care to all victims.

The attacks have impacted multiple districts in Kharkiv, including the Khолодногірський, Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi, and Kyivskyi areas.
