Russian Attacks Damage Infrastructure in Poltava and Kirovohrad Regions

Recent attacks by Russian forces have resulted in significant damage across the Poltava and Kirovohrad regions of Ukraine. The assaults have left one person injured and disrupted power supply to nearly 20,000 residents.

According to Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the nighttime strikes caused destruction at an industrial facility in the Poltava district. He reported that debris from the attacks led to fires, which have since been extinguished.

In the Lubny district, falling debris damaged a private residence and an electricity line, resulting in power outages for 18,209 residential and 1,781 business consumers. Dyakivnych noted that energy crews are actively working to restore power.

In Kirovohrad, Andriy Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, confirmed that a drone attack in the Novoarkhangelsk community resulted in injuries to one individual. Additionally, the roofs of five private homes were damaged, and a commission has been established to assess the extent of the destruction.

Recent Russian attacks in Ukraine's Poltava and Kirovohrad regions have caused injuries and extensive damage to infrastructure, including residential properties and industrial facilities. Efforts are underway to restore power to affected areas.
