A drone attack has been reported in Tatarstan, Russia, targeting the Kaleykino oil pumping station, a critical node for the Druzhba oil export pipeline. Local sources indicated that explosions and fires were witnessed in the area.
According to OSINT analysts, the fire originated at the Kaleykino oil pumping station located near Almetyevsk. Regional authorities later confirmed the attack on the industrial site, asserting that a “local fire” was triggered by debris from the unmanned aerial vehicle.
Officials stated that there were no casualties resulting from the incident. Cleanup efforts are currently underway, and the situation is reportedly under control, as per the regional administration’s announcement.
The Kaleykino oil pumping station is a major facility situated close to Almetyevsk, near the village of Kaleykino. It receives oil from various pipelines and serves as a significant hub within the main pipeline system. The facility is owned and operated by Transneft-Prykamye, a regional division of Transneft.
At this station, oil from different regions, including Western Siberia and the Volga area, is blended before being dispatched for export.
