Ukrzaliznytsia has announced changes to train services effective February 21 due to safety issues in certain regions. These adjustments affect routes and schedules across various areas.
In the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, regional trains will temporarily operate to and from Konotop, with services extending to the Krolevets station. Additionally, modified schedules for suburban connections on the Nizhyn route will be implemented starting February 21.
The following suburban trains will operate under the new timetable:
- Train No. 6913 from Nizhyn to Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi will depart at 08:23 and arrive at 11:01, adjusted from 08:53 and 11:24.
- Train No. 6803 from Hrebinka to Kyiv-Volynskyi will leave at 04:30 instead of 04:34, arriving at 07:44.
- Train No. 6804 from Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi to Yahotyn will now depart at 07:08 and arrive at 09:33, revised from 06:55 and 09:08.
In the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, bus services are currently being used to transport passengers between Lozova and Kramatorsk. Train No. 101/102 from Barvinkove to Kherson will wait for a transfer from Kramatorsk.
Regional express trains on the Izyum route continue to operate on their regular schedule. Meanwhile, transportation between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia is primarily being handled by bus services at this time.
Ukrzaliznytsia advises passengers to pay close attention to instructions from train crews and station staff. They also encourage users to enable push notifications in the official “UZ” app for real-time updates regarding changes.
