Kherson experienced a blackout this morning, February 13, with efforts underway to restore electricity. Until power is returned, water supply to homes will be managed through generators.
Shanko stated, “Electricity is temporarily unavailable in Kherson. Experts are determining the causes. We are working to restore electricity to our people’s homes as quickly as possible.”
He emphasized that until the power is restored, water will be supplied via generators.
Shanko added, “I ask everyone to understand the situation. I remind you that Resilience Points are operational in the community, where people can charge their devices, access the internet, warm up, and take a rest.”
Additionally, he noted that in the past day, one person died and three were injured due to Russian attacks in the Kherson community.
Kherson is currently without electricity as officials investigate the cause, with water supply powered by generators. Recent attacks resulted in casualties.
