He also stated that since Russia was excluded from participation in the Olympics in Paris due to the invasion of Ukraine, it is not obliged to adhere to the principles of the International Olympic Committee.
“Today, international sports officials violate the principles of the Olympic Charter in relation to Russia, preventing our athletes from participating in the Olympic Games under their flag, with their anthem, but they want us to follow the rules they impose on us. To demand something from others, you need to follow the rules yourself,” he said.
