Ukrainian President Zelensky Visits Spain for Defense Agreements

On March 18, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine arrived in Spain for an official visit, focusing on defense collaboration between the two nations.

According to presidential spokesperson Serhiy Nykyforov, Zelensky is currently at the Sener Aerospace & Defence facility, where he is expected to review production processes and examine various military equipment. This visit aims to strengthen defense ties, with the signing of bilateral defense agreements scheduled to take place.

In addition to his visit to the defense company, Zelensky’s itinerary includes meetings with key Spanish officials. He is set to meet with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Congress President Francina Armengol, Senate President Pedro Rollán, and King Felipe VI.

The visit underscores Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to bolster international support amid its current geopolitical challenges. The signing of agreements is anticipated to enhance military cooperation and support between Ukraine and Spain.
