Preliminary investigations indicate that homemade explosive devices were detonated.
As a result of the blasts, a 23-year-old police officer was killed, and 25 others sustained injuries, the majority of whom were law enforcement personnel, though there were also civilian casualties.
The deceased officer has been identified as Viktoriya Shpylyka from Volyn, who began her service in the patrol police in Kherson and had been working in Lviv since 2023.
