Ukrainian military forces have reportedly reclaimed approximately 300 square kilometers of territory from Russian occupation in the southern region of the front lines. This development has been confirmed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, who acknowledged the ongoing advancements of Ukrainian troops.
In a recent address, Zelensky congratulated the armed forces, stating, “I will not go into details, but today I can primarily congratulate our army – all defense forces, because as of today, 300 square kilometers have been liberated.” However, he did not specify the timeframe in which these gains were achieved.
The President highlighted that Ukraine is taking advantage of the current situation, particularly the disruption of Starlink terminals used by Russian forces. He noted that Ukrainian defenders have also experienced connectivity issues during operations.
“There are problems, there are challenges,” he acknowledged, while emphasizing that the setbacks faced by Russia are “much more serious.”
