Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country’s leadership now has access to a sophisticated system that enables real-time monitoring of Russian attacks and the overall situation on the front lines.
“I currently have proof that the development of security systems can progress rapidly and be more cost-effective than traditional defense systems. This is an iPad equipped with software that allows us to oversee our security in real-time,” Zelensky stated.
He mentioned that similar devices are also utilized by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, and military commanders.
The system provides detailed insights into Russian strikes, missile and drone trajectories, and evaluates the effectiveness of Ukraine’s air defense operations. “We can see every large-scale Russian attack on our cities, including launch sites, flight paths, and potential targets. The system allows us to analyze each attack and our defense response in real-time,” he explained.
Zelensky cited a massive attack that occurred on March 14, where Russia deployed nearly 500 aerial assault units.
“Almost 500 units of Russian aviation weaponry were involved, including 430 drones and 68 missiles of various types. We managed to intercept most of them in real-time. With this iPad, in our system, we can see how our aircraft are operating, where electronic warfare is being deployed, and how interceptors are being positioned,” the Ukrainian leader noted.
Additionally, Zelensky shared that he presented one of these devices to King Charles III of the United Kingdom.
“His Majesty asked if I had another iPad. I replied that I only had my personal one, which I could not give away. He then said he would share it with the Prime Minister,” Zelensky recounted.
President Zelensky has unveiled a new real-time defense tracking system that enhances Ukraine's ability to monitor and respond to Russian military actions. This technology, likened to an iPad, allows for detailed analysis of attacks and air defense efficacy.
