The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the attempts of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban “to put pressure on Putin”, reports UNN.

“We need a strong union, not those countries that today like Hungary, for example, like Prime Minister Orban, want somehow… It won’t work, I won’t let him and people like him in either,” Zelenskyy said during a meeting of the All-Ukrainian Congress local and regional authorities.

He emphasizes that Ukraine is a strong country both on the battlefield and during a full-scale invasion.

“Does anyone else in Europe have such an example? No one. Does Orban have such an army? There is none. How will he put pressure on Putin? A joke? A smile? Let him keep it to himself,” added the President.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary called Kyiv’s refusal of the telephone conversation between Orban and Zelensky an “unprecedented gesture”. Szijjarto said that Hungary has done more than others for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
