We see the activation of Russians in the Kherson direction – Zelenskyi

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian occupiers have become more active in the Kherson area. The Ukrainian military repelled an attempt by Russian movements there. He announced this in a video message, reports UNN.

“In general, we see the activation of the occupier in the Kherson direction. I would like to thank the units that stand in defense of these positions of ours. They repelled an attempt by Russian movements there, and also today the Chief of Staff reported to me on other directions of the front, both Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia,” he said Zelensky

He also noted that more and more North Korean soldiers have been killed in Kurshchyna.

“Special attention to combat operations in Kurshchyna. More and more North Korean soldiers killed there are indicative that Russia is trying to pass these soldiers off as representatives of national communities living on the territory of the Russian Federation,” Zelenskyi said.

In the morning, the Russians created real hell in Kherson, starting to cover the city with massive fire from 5 in the morning. The enemy attacked residential buildings, social and critical infrastructure. About 1,000 shells arrived.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian military also tried to cross the Dnipro and land near Kherson.
