Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba does not understand how President Volodymyr Zelenskyy can sign any peace agreement recognizing the occupation of Crimea or Donbas in eastern Ukraine, despite his statements about seeking diplomatic solutions. According to him, Zelensky cannot sign such a pact because it will be his “political end”. He said this in an interview with Politico, reports UNN

However, Kuleba does not hope that the newly elected US President Donald Trump will be able to mediate in concluding a peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the need to end the war diplomatically next year. He noted the significant losses of the Russian Federation in the amount of 1,500-2,000 soldiers every day and the waiting for manned brigades.
