In the Brovary community of the Kyiv region, the authorities always go to meet internally displaced persons who are looking for work and want to work. A specific example of such interaction was given by Andriy Tsakhlo, the headman of the village of Trebukhiv, which is part of the Brovary community, in his comments UNN.

According to the headman, internally displaced persons from the Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions live in their settlement. Many families moved from Bakhmut. In the village, they are given maximum help, in particular, with employment.

“A family moved to us from a village near Izyum. The resettled man got a job at our district of the KP “Brovary-Blagoustrii” as a cleaner of the territory, his daughter works for us in the social welfare department. The most important thing is that these people themselves came to us and asked for jobs. And we promptly employed them. People who love their work, want to work and give 100%, are needed always and everywhere.

Many immigrants work at our private enterprises, in the service sector, etc.

We are constantly trying to meet the needs of displaced people. Finding a place to live, providing some things, food – everything was provided, they helped and tried to support everyone both morally and according to needs,” said Andriy Tsakhlo.

The mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, said that there are currently about 21,000 internally displaced persons in the community.

“Yes, 21,000 people are on the register of internally displaced persons. We have a town for them, where 360 ​​people can live.

It is clear that everyone is either looking for an opportunity to rent housing, or lives with friends, relatives, or is looking for a job here. And quite a lot of people have already found employment, including in our communal institutions, in medicine, in the field of service, etc. And they have already adapted as much as possible here. And it’s nice when you walk down the street and meet people, and they say that they moved from Bakhmut two years ago, found an opportunity to realize themselves, and now the Brovary community is almost like their own,” said Ihor Sapozhko.

The mayor of Brovary emphasized that the authorities pay considerable attention to the adaptation of immigrant children.

“We pay extra attention to the fact that migrant children study offline in the schools of our community in order to adapt faster. For us, all children of Ukraine are our family,” – Ihor Sapozhko.
