The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tykhi, trolled his Russian colleague, Maria Zakharova, who during the briefing received an order not to comment on the strike by an intercontinental ballistic missile on the Dnipro River, reports UNN.

“I have a phone, but no one calls me during briefings. Firstly, because we have a free country, nobody tells anything, and secondly, because we report true facts and we do not need to coordinate how to lie today , so that it does not contradict the way we lied yesterday,” said Tykhyi during the briefing, alluding to the situation with Sakharova.

Context

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Sakharova, answered the phone call during the press briefing, which caused a stir. An unknown caller forbade her to comment on the strike by an intercontinental ballistic missile on the Dnipro.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces reported that Russia fired an intercontinental ballistic missile and 8 more missiles, six Kh-101s were shot down.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that Ukraine is currently waiting for the results of the conclusions regarding what type of new missile the Russian army used to attack Ukraine today.

Tychy noted that if the Kremlin’s use of an intercontinental ballistic missile is confirmed, it will be possible to state that Putin’s Russia has degraded to the status of North Korea.
