According to the head of the Russian region, Serhii Nosov, local reindeer herders and activists of the All-Russian People’s Front (ZNF) came up with this idea. The governor said he would support the initiative.
“The properties of deer skin and wool make it possible to hide equipment and shelter from thermal imagers. In addition, they will keep warm in the cold season. We will help ensure transportation, production of skins and transfer to our soldiers,” Nosov writes.
