In the temporarily occupied territories, the compulsory process of obtaining Russian passports continues. The Center of National Resistance writes about it, transmits UNN.

Although Russian legislation does not provide for such requirements, citizens in the occupied territories are also required to renounce their Ukrainian passport when receiving a Russian one.

“Thus, the enemy is trying to destroy Ukrainians in the region on a legal level,” – summarized in the Resistance.

Let’s add

Since January 1, the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories have deprived the rights of citizens who refused to obtain a passport of the Russian Federation. Without this document, local residents can no longer receive any assistance, including discounted medications that were previously available to people with cardiovascular disease, asthmatics and diabetics.

In addition, the purchase of medicines became possible only at one’s own expense, but it is almost impossible to find the necessary drugs, and their prices are 2-3 times higher than market prices. The occupiers not only deprive people of the right to assistance, but also create an artificial shortage, forcing Ukrainians to accept enemy passports.
